The
Dawn of a New Chapter
BEYOND the
shores of our Philippine motherland, we came to America bringing
with us the principles of brotherhood, integrity, loyalty, equality,
and service. We continue to be proud members of the Beta Sigma
Fraternity. As each individual family struggles with life in this
great nation, we believe that forging ties with other brothers’
families fortifies the foundation of a stable family life.
STRENGTHENING
the bonds among brothers and his family members shall be our thrust.
The family will be our inspiration as we set forth regular
fellowship and worthwhile activities. We would like our children to
have a sense of belonging. By being together we teach them the moral
fibers of love predicated on sympathy, understanding, friendship and
equality as embodied in the Betan Credo.
FROM
different university chapters and alumni affiliations we come,
firmly believing that democracy and transparency are the bases of
our camaraderie. We mutually respect each other amid diversities in
wealth, region, creed and prejudices. We have faith, trust and love
for one another. Each one will be our pillar of strength. Together
we are one big happy family and we enjoy each other’s company.
We have hereunto subscribed our names as founding members of the

UP Operation
Big Brother Foundation spearheads the "Residents' Cup"
Warm Greetings!
The UP Operation Big Brother Foundation is
spearheading a fund raising project for the UP Diliman
residents. Dubbed as the "RESIDENTS' CUP", it is the
first golf tournament organized by our group and in
cooperation with distinguished members of our beloved
fraternity and to name a few, is no other than our
founding brother Brod Rico Arranz '46.
This event will be held at the Valley Golf Club on the
May 23, 2007 and will be attended by brods and close
friends. The proceeds of this activity will benefit
the UP Beta Sigma School of MARTIAL ARTS program which
includes continuous trainings and to purchase
equipments badly needed for the program.
Brods, this is the right time to revive one of the
greatest tradition of our fraternity and our
cooperation worldwide is needed to make this a
reality!
We are inviting our international chapters to support
this momentous event and be part of this generous act
in helping our residents here in Diliman. The major
sponsor of each hole is $250 each and in return your
chapter or the name of the sponsor shall appear in the
banner. Aside from the major sponsors that we
solicited from brods representing their companies,
others contributed corporate giveaways for the raffle
including liquor!
For any questions regarding the said activity, you can
email me at pmarf@yahoo.com or I could be contacted 24
hours through this number 0910.652.5036.
Cheerz!
